24.06.2025
Mühltal, Germany, 24/06/2025: Riese & Müller is showcasing systematic developments of its successful cargo and longtail bikes for the 2026 model year. The premium manufacturer is setting new standards in drive technology, comfort and safety with its updates to the Carrie2, Load5, Multicharger3 and Multitinker2– and, at the same time, is making the models even more versatile and customisable.
The Carrie2.
The popular Carrie2 compact cargo bike is getting a significant technology upgrade during the new model year. Its new Bosch Performance Line PX motor delivers up to 90 Nm of torque for direct, powerful assistance – especially when setting off with a full load. For enhanced visibility and safety in the dark, the Supernova Mini2 headlight will now be fitted as standard. The new zipper door, which makes it easier for children or dogs to get into the Flex Box, is particularly convenient for families. In addition, the new automatic model version with Enviolo Automatiq gear complements the portfolio – ideal for anyone who values a low-maintenance and intuitive riding experience. The new coral colour brings a breath of fresh air to the design range, while practical equipment packages, such as the Cargo, Family and Dog packages, enable users to simply configure the bike to meet their needs. And, if you also want to ride off-road, the Carrie2 can also be equipped with the Offroad kit from the new model year.

The Load5 60 and Load5 75.
The Load5, which is available with a 60 or 75-centimetre loading surface, is now in its fifth generation and comes with a comprehensive technology package. The latest Bosch Cargo Line motor lends the Load5 even better riding dynamics, while the optional Magura IBS brake force distributor ensures finely controllable and evenly distributed braking force – even with a heavy load. The RX Chip for digital anti-theft protection and geolocation is now part of the standard equipment, as is a dropper seatpost that makes it easier to get on and off the bike. The new arctic colour option adds a modern accent to its distinctive design style. A new DualBattery option increases the maximum battery capacity to 1,600 Wh – ideal for professional or intensive everyday use. For maximum riding comfort, you can also equip the Load5 with the new Performance kit including individually adjustable air suspension elements.

The Multicharger3.
The Multicharger3 (available as a classic model or Mixte version) is also being technically upgraded for the new season. With the new Bosch Performance Line PX motor and the new Bosch Cargo Line motor, also available in the Speed version, the longtail bike is ideally equipped for everyday use and longer trips with luggage or a child seat. Its new desert frame colour adds a natural yet modern nuance to the existing colour range. Powerful Supernova lights are now used on all model versions. Preconfigured equipment kits make selection easier and ensure you have the right equipment – for the weekly shopping to a family outing.

The Multitinker2.
The practical 20-inch longtail Multitinker2 has also been completely modernised for the 2026 model year. Its new Bosch Cargo Line motor provides smooth, powerful assistance in all riding situations – whether in busy urban traffic or riding with a full load. Two new colour options (lava and olive) make the Multitinker2 even more visually appealing. The FAMILY version, which is equipped with the new Bosch Performance Line PX motor and an extensive accessory package for transporting children, is particularly family-friendly. The Multitinker2 therefore offers an ideal, comfortable entry into the world of cargo bikes – without compromising on riding behaviour or safety.
